I asked you to have input in this topic which I think is very important in our  day as the Lord has showed me.

“GOD’S DWELLING PLACE”

I  think this is very sensitive topic we need to handle

with extremely care.We need to ask the Lord to reveal to us the important of his DWELLING PLACE and the benefit we will get if we humble ourselves and build the LORD’S DWELLING PLACE.

PLEASE PAY ATTENTION I AM NOT TALKING ABOUT BUILDING MY CHURCH BUILDING NO,BUT WE ARE GOING TO TALK ABOUT HOW WE CAN BE A BETTER MEMBER.

We are going to divide our topic into

We read in the BIBLE after GOD created everything and at last he have said that ‘

“let’s us make people with our own image” (Genesis 1:26).

AND we read that after the LORD have created them (male and female) He have blessed them.

in GENESIS 1:28 we read that the LORD have said to them

“Then God blessed them, and God said to them, “Be fruitful and multiply; fill the earth and subdue it; have dominion over the fish of the sea, over the birds of the air, and over every living thing that moves on the earth.” (Genesi 1:28 nkj)

It’s seems look like the aim of the LORD WAS that all the people who was created by his image of God were suppose to fill  the whole  world.Multiplication of the people who act like God was a major purpose of the LORD about the people.

AS we know that our grandparent have failed the plan of the LORD.Instead of multiplication of the people  who love GOD and love one another.BUT there was a multiplication of people who hate one another and who run away from GOD.

WHILE OUR GRANDPARENT HAVE FAIL BUT THE LORD IS NOT A FAILURE.when He see that people have failed he had bring plan B.SO THAT HIS WIS CAN REMAIN ON EARTH AS IN HEAVEN!

IN THE NEW TESTAMENT WE READ THAT after the LORD JEAUS HAVE DONE HIS WORK  and have  full filled the plan of his father.After he was raised from death.

Before He left the world to go back to his father,He have told his disciple a very interesting thing,

IN MATHEW 28  : 18-20

“18 And Jesus came and spoke to them, saying, “All authority has been given to Me in heaven and on earth. 19 Go therefore[c] and make disciples of all the nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, 20 teaching them to observe all things that I have commanded you; and lo, I am with you always, even to the end of the age.” (nkj)

SO NOW THIS WAS THE MESSAGE OF THE CENTURIES.

Now we see the plan of the LORD about a multiplication of the people who have a GOD’s nature around the world.

As we see the LORD have  teach his disciple about the Kingdom of God and how the people can line themselves to enter into that Kingdom.So it was important for disciple to teach all the people they met ABOUT KINGDOM OF GOD and the requiments to enter that KINGDOM.NOT JUST TO ADD A NUMBER OF THE PEOPLE WHO JUST FOLLOW IN THIS MINISTRY.WITHOUT knowing the will of GOD ABOUT THEIR LIFE and their everlasting.

AS we read IN  JOHN 5:24

 24 “Most assuredly, I say to you, he who hears My word and believes in Him who sent Me has everlasting life, and shall not come into judgment, but has passed from death into life.”

THAT IT WAS OUR LORD WISH TILL TODAY IS STILL THE SAME CALL!

2.WHEN THE LORD HAVE ASKED HIS PEOPLE TO BUILD HIM A DWELLING PLACE

WHEN THE LORD HAVE ASKED HIS PEOPLE TO BUILD HIM A DWELLING PLACE

As we read in the BIBLE from the era of Adam,Noah,Abraham etc until after the pass over,we don’t read about the LORD asking his people to build him a dwelling place.

AS we read in Genesis 3

8” And they heard the sound of the Lord God walking in the garden in the cool of the day, and Adam and his wife hid themselves from the presence of the Lord God among the trees of the garden.”

so it’s clear that the LORD WAS just sometimes go and visit his people so on,even in the time of Abraham and others the LORD WAS coming direct to  his people or sending His Angel to tell his people his message.

THE LORD HAVE ASKED HIS PEOPLE TO BUILD HIS DWELLING PLACE

after HE have delivered them from slavery.As we know that after the LORD Has delivered them he had lead them until to the mountain while they was on their way to promise land.SO WHILE THEY WAS ON THEIR WAY THE LORD HAVE GAVE THEM HIS COMMANDMENT which was important for them to keep it.As it was a sign who show that their was a special people.As their was a GOD's chosen nation.In Exodus 25 we read about the donation which was required to do this work  of building the LORD ACCOMMODATION!

I BELIEVE ALL PEOPLE BEFORE JOSEPH SON OF JACOB.

no one of them has tasted to be slave it was the generation after Joseph who have become a slavery in Egypt.After the LORD have delivered them from the hand of EGYPTIAN,He have make a covenant with them and He asked them to build for HIM his DWELLING PLACE.

3.WHAT WAS THE COVENANT! (A)

NOW we are coming into important section of our topic.

Because I think that it is the secret who have make that generation to differ from their previous generation.

after the generation after JOSEPH have became a slavery and the LORD HAVE DELIVERED THEM WITH HIS MIGHT POWER.

WHAT IS THE COVENANT!  (A)

The Lord have told the people that if they will make His WILL and keep his commandment,The LORD was going to provide and protect them,He have promised to bless them,their land and their children.

AS WE READ THAT  THE LORD HAVE SAID;

Deuteronomy 30:19

“I call heaven and earth as witnesses today against you, that I have set before you life and death, blessing and cursing; therefore choose life, that both you and your descendants may live;”  (nkjv)

AND THE PEOPLE HAVE RESPONDED POSITIVE;

Exodus 24:7

Then he took the Book of the Covenant and read in the hearing of the people. And they said, “All that the Lord has said we will do, and be obedient.” (nkjv) 

THAT it was a covenant between GOD and his people.the tabernacle was build after there was a covenant between GOD AND HIS PEOPLE.As even today we need to have faith in the LORD JESUS before we can receive the power of the HOLY SPIRIT!

4.BUILDING THE LORD’s DWELLING PLACE

BUILDING THE LORD’s DWELLING PLACE

As we have read in Exodus 24, that after Moses have read the commandment of the LORD to the people and the people have commit themselves to do the will of LORD.Then Moses take the blood of the bulls sprinkle the book of the law and the people and he have sprinkle the alter as well that it was a covenant between the LORD and the people.

(Now I think most of those people was still remember that how the LORD has deliver them from slavery with the blood { Exodus 12:1-51} they had obey the LORD and they have do what the LORD HAS TOLD THEM TO DO and their was delivered.)Now there was an agreement between the LORD and the people.

NOW THE LORD HAVE TOLD MOSES TO BUILD THE ARK WHERE THE BOOK OF LAW WAS GOING TO BE PUT IN THAT ARK WHO WAS CALLED THE ARK OF COVENANT.

So the Tarbanacle (or LORD's DWELLING PLACE) was build it for that ARK OF COVENANT.So that time after time people must come to the Tarbanacle to be reminded about the will of  the LORD,So that they can refresh their thinking about the LORD!

5.WHY WAS DAVID WANT TO BUILD A TEMPLE ?

WHY DID KING DAVID WANT TO BUILD A TEMPLE?

When David became the king of Israel ,there was many enemies who was surround Israel.By the favour of the LORD,David overcome all their enemy.So the land was in peace and mood as the LORD was with his people and have gave them a rest under the leadership of David.After David have build his house of cedar,but he was unhappy.

as we read 2 Samuel 7:1-2

"Now it came to pass when the king was dwelling in his house, and the Lord had given him rest from all his enemies all around, 2 that the king said to Nathan the prophet, “See now, I dwell in a house of cedar, but the ark of God dwells inside tent curtains.”

(for me it seems like he was thinking that the big GOD who have delivered them from all their enemies and have give them a rest.

But still there was no place for HIM, INSIDE THEM BECAUSE THE ARK OF COVENANT WHO WAS THE SIGN OF THE LORD THAT IS WITH THEM.)

The aim of David was to show respect to the LORD by building him a dwelling place.?

That it was a sign of the present of the LORD among his PEOPLE.

If it was so important to David to build the LORD's dwelling place,SO how it's important for us to give a HOLY SPIRIT a space in our lives,He is around us looking a place to dwell and to remind us about the Word of the LORD.as we read in,

John 14:26

New International Version (NIV)

26 "But the Advocate, the Holy Spirit, whom the Father will send in my name, will teach you all things and will remind you of everything I have said to you."

6.WHAT HAPPEN WITH THE ARK OF COVENANT!

WHAT HAPPEN WITH THE ARK OF COVENANT

As we know that

at the LORD did not allow David to build his Dwelling place.So David's son Solomon he was chosen as the king after David's death. Solomon was in charge  to build the LORD's DWELLING PLACE.We read in 1 Kings 6-8,all the work was done by king Solomon to build the Temple.

After completing all the things who was prepared to served the LORD with was been put it inside the Temple. And the ARK OF COVENANT was also brought inside the Temple by the priest of the LORD.So the work was done the people was happy that the present of the LORD was inside them and they have feel the safety of their land as the LORD was inside them.

BUT LITTLE by LITTLE people have started to back slide in LORD their GOD commandment by worshiping other gods's service Iike worshiping Baal (1 Kings 16:29-34),while the LORD have told them to serve HIM alone (DUTERONOMY 6:5)! BUT they have forget all the might works of the LORD has done for them!

The LORD have send many prophet to warn his people about their Sin and He warn them about The result of their sin. But unfortunately they refuse to repent from their sin.As we know the LORD is Holy He never stay with sin.There fore the LORD have left his people.

After that the kingdom of Babel under the leadership of king Nebuchedenezer have came to attack Jerusalem and overcame it.Nebuchedenezer have take all the treasure in the Temple and the people as a captive to Babel,he have also burn the Temple and the most important building of Jerusalem with fire.

NOW IMPORTANT QUESTION IS WHO TAKE AND TO WHERE THE ARK OF THE COVENANT BEFORE NEBUCHEDENEZER DESTROY THE TEMPLE?

We all know that no-one was allowed to touch or carry the ARK OF COVENANT without the priest only.I don't want to make a conflict about what others saying about the dissapear of the ARK OF COVENANT in the Temple! I'll going Just make a defination of the lesson we learn with THAT story at the END of our blog.OH LORD HELP US TO OBEY!

7.WHAT WAS THE ROLE OF HOLY HOLY SPIRIT IN LIFE OF JESUS!

The HOLY SPIRIT have played a major role in life of Jesus, from His birth until to His ministry.I'll skip His birth.

I LIKE TO focus on his ministry as we know after His birth He has grow up as any child of his age.He did not do any miracle,heal or teach He did nothing.The only thing we learn is only when He was @ the age of 12 years when He was sitting with the elders of those days talking about the Scriptures.AFTER THAT JESUS WAIT UNTIL HE WAS 30 years.

AT the age of 30 years He have go to John the baptizer at Jordan river to be baptized. Is When His work have started As we read at Acts 10:38 that after He was been baptized with the water GOD the father have anointed Him (our LORD AND SAVIOR JESUS CHRIST) 

So if it was important for Jesus to be anointed.After His anointed He was able teach the Word of GOD,drove out the evil spirit,heal deases, fed those who was hungry and many more work of power.

OUR LORD HAVE EXPERIENCE THAT WITHOUT A HOLY SPIRIT NOTHING WILL BE SUCCESSFULLY. SO HOLY SPIRIT IS OUR HELPER!

8.WHAT WAS A ROLE OF THE HOLY SPIRIT IN EARLY EARLY CHURCH?

After the resurrection of the LORD JESUS .He have told his disciple that they must go around the world and make all the nations a disciple and teach them to KEEP all what the LORD JESUS have teach them while he was them!

But there was no GOOD relationship between THE DISCIPLE themselves ,the have individuals interest,they was afraid ,sometimes they have lack faith,sometimes they failed to drove out evil spirit etc. SO WHAT A KIND OF DISCIPLE WAS GOING TO BE PRODUCED BY SUCH PEOPLE?

The LORD have see the character of his disciple ,but he did not shuffle them with another team but he was patient for them and he have lead them wisely but he told them before he left them that he will send another Teacher,Comforter who was going to ENCOURAGE and remind them about THE WORD OF GOD .SO THE WORK OF THE HOLY SPIRIT WAS TO STRENGTEN THEM SO THAT THEY CAN BE FRUIT FULLY AND BE MULTIPLIED IN JESUS MINISTRY .

After the HOLY SPIRIT have came to the disciple they was total change from their old character.

They have started to be fruithfully,they was no more afraid.We read at Acts 2 that on the day the HOLY SPIRIT came,Peter was strong courage and he have preached the gospel of JESUS,and more than 3000 people was converted and baptized in the name of the LORD.That was a very fruit fully result.

So day after day a new members was added to the church.So the early church was started by the LORD JESUS and the HOLY SPIRIT was in charge to control the church and encourage them and have reminded them about the Word of GOD.When the Devil started to attack the church he used the elders of the community to persecute the followers of JESUS.

Many of them was been killed.Disciple have run away from Jerusalem but the good-news was when they run away they was spreading the Word of GOD,where ever they go.The church was growing from 100s-1000s day after day.When JESUS was on earth he was only one who preach but when HOLY SPIRIT came have make many people to share the Gospel of the LORD in many places at one time ( THAT IT WAS A MULTIPLICATION).
